The NordSHU factory was created by two Russian brands — Northwestek and SHU. Their founders Igor Frolov and Andrey Kravtsov have extensive experience in designing and creation of functional jackets, down jackets and parkas for various weather conditions. In 2021, they decided to combine their professional knowledge and resources. It allowed them to create a new factory for the production of modern and technological clothing in Russia.
The prerequisite for starting a common business in Veliky Novgorod was a great respect for skilled labor in the light industry and a desire to localize production for building new transparent production chains within the country. The new production facility means comfortable working conditions and stable work for light industry specialists. NordSHU's founders also remain confident in the quality of their products and are committed to building long-term partnerships with all employees, suppliers and customers.
SHU is concise, functional and comfortable clothing for everyday life. The history of the brand began in 2012 with the release of raincoats. Today the brand has six own stores and about 40 wholesale partners in Russia. In addition to jackets, down jackets and raincoats made of membrane fabric, SHU releases several themed lines a year including cotton and denim, as well as accessories and shoes.
Northwestek also specializes in outerwear — practical and versatile jackets and parkas for different climates and extreme cold temperatures. In 2008 it was founded by Igor Frolov. Now these are several brands in different directions that produce casual outerwear and corporate clothing, as well as leisure models. Each new development is tested in various conditions and temperature conditions. All lines are united by the main criteria: functionality and reliability.
