Northwestek has announced the end of production of women’s clothing under the Rivernord brand. This decision is part of a strategic reassessment of the company’s product range and a shift in focus toward its core direction — the production of men’s functional outerwear.
From the very beginning, Rivernord has been built around the idea of reliable, practical, and durable clothing designed for real weather conditions and active use. While developing women’s models, the team faced a contradiction between the brand’s functional concept and the demands of fashion trends. The production of purely utilitarian women’s jackets proved to be a niche segment, while adapting the designs to fashion trends conflicted with the brand’s philosophy.
For this reason, Northwestek decided to discontinue the women’s line and focus on men’s collections — the segment where Rivernord has historically been strongest and has the most expertise.
To mark this transition, Rivernord is holding a final sale of women’s clothing with discounts of up to 70%. The online store features women’s winter and mid-season jackets, parkas, windbreakers, vests, and T-shirts. All items are in stock and ready to ship the next business day after the order is placed.
Rivernord will continue to fulfill custom orders for women’s garments for corporate and wholesale clients, but women’s models will be temporarily removed from the main collection — until a new concept for the line is fully developed in line with the brand’s values.
Thus, the final sale of Rivernord women’s jackets marks not just the closure of one direction but an important and logical step in the brand’s evolution. Northwestek remains true to its principle — to create clothing where functionality, quality, and reliability come first.
